my kiddos

ok, so before i post about my girls weekend, i am going to give you a little update on my kiddos! i just about pull my hair out every day...but seriusly, it is sooo worth it! kiya and masen has this HUGE love/hate relationship....every day when masen wakes up he yells for kiya until she goes upstairs and graces him with her presence and after that...the screaming begins! they seriously TRY to make each other mad, just so they can do their high pitch, blood curdling screams. once you get over the loss of hearing, it is kinda funny....its like they have scream wars or something. and then when ellie gets home...everything is suddenly peaceful again, it is really weird! who would have ever thought that ellie would be a peace maker? but before i talk about ellie, i will say some positive things about kiya and masen :) kiya is soooo cute and so dainty (when she isn't screaming). her dream is to grow up and be a princess or a unicorn (i tell her that she has a better chance of being a princess). she is also so observant...she will notice if i change my earings, if i am sad, if jake isn't home at the normal time, ect. and she is so sweet about it. she will say "mom, you look really pretty today with those earings in" or "i love those beautiful horse sheets you put on my bed, thank you mom." it is so cute! she also loves to cuddle...she is sitting next to me at the moment with her head rested on my shoulder :) so...that is kiya!

masen man is a pretty big handful! he is full of energy and a huge vocab. for a 2 year old! he says full sentences and they are so clear. he sits in the recliner with jake every night and has a little man to man convo. they talk about football, turkey hunting, elk, deer (mule deer and whitetail;) and whatever else comes up. it is way cute....or should i say bad ass? he always asks me... "mom, we go to the gas station? and get some treats?" and "you work tonight mom?" and to jake he says "dad, we go to the hills, and shoot coyotes?" yeah, he is pretty dang cute...he puts on his own shoes now, and it never fails, he will put them on the wrong feet...everytime! but hey, he's tryin' aint he? ha!

and lets see...ellie has been doing awesome in school. i think she is ready to go full days! she still has her boyfriends, and they are still wooing her with gifts....everyday! jake loves that :) i started crying the other day though...i will tell you why but let me tell you this first.... iam not an ass kisser....there are moms there that practically stalk the teacher....it is kindergarten for shit sake! so obviously i don't see every move that the kids are making at school. and i never got a note sent home saying that the kids were having a play with the puppets that they made. yeah...ellie came home and the first thing she said was "mom...how come you didn't come to my play? i was the letter d. everyone elses parents were there and you weren't and i was crying cause you weren't." if that wouldn't make you cry, i don't know what would. so what should i do...be an ass kisser? for one, i can tell you that i turn that backpack inside out looking for papers now! we will see if i get the next invite. but back to elles....she got her cast off so i am scared to death that she will break it again, but i guess it can't be in a cast forever right? (maybe it can?) welp, that is all i got...i will write my girls weekend post next! lots o' love..cas
