disney, here they come!

so....the girls had a BLAST!!!! 4 days with grandma and grandpa? what more could you ask for? oh yeah....mickey, minnie, princesses, makeovers....to say the least, they were in heaven!
ellie's favorite princess was belle...she loved her dress! but the thing with elles, is that she already knows that they are not the real princesses or charecters. she had fun...but the whoel time she is like "tinker belle just went down a zip line...she is not really flying" and "that is fake snow, not real snow". too smart for her own good!
kiya loved cinderella! of course...and when she came home, she told me that i shoudl dye my hair blond so i could be like cinderella.....no thanks:)


and then there was the princess boutique....i would have loved this just as much as they did! they got done up just like the princesses that they are! when they got home, kiy awas showing me the paper from what they had to choose from. ellie told me that she was a "Classic princess" and kiya was a "diva princess". and she LOVED saying diva...jake thought that was great (not). so the next morning, kiya was a little bit sick of being a "diva"....which i don't blame her, but she told me...."mom....will you take my diva out?" (meaning her hair piece) but seriously, it was soooo funny. masen thought it was great too. he kept telling her that she was a "Diba".....ha ha! and of course she got mad a t him!
anyhow, they had a great time....i hope i will be able to take them at some point! i would have loved to see the faces on them throughout the trip!

why is it that i go through sooo many electronics? i seriously have gone through about 15 cell phones in the past 2 years! blah! and i was on my second camera...now it will be the third...when i go pick the money off of my money tree and go out to buy one! so there won't be any new pics for a while..but i am going to do a post about the girls trip to disney world with my parents..they had a blast, and my mom took the pics on her camera! hope everyone is well!

halloween and such :)

ahhh yes...it has been a while, but it has been busy around here! halloween was a BLAST! i had to work on the actual night, but jake took the kiddos trick-or-treating and they had a hay day! i was a little bit scared because he was going to be the one getting the kids ready...and with two of the kiddos going as princesses, i had my doubts....but he did good! they went to a meridian neighborhood with their cousins and got some pretty good shiot! i totally had to go through it and make sure it all tasted alright :) the last house they went to was our friend bradys' house. he never fails them....instead of a couple pieces each, they each got a BAG...they love going to his house :)

the day after we had our anual halloween barn dance...and let me tell ya, that is always a good time! jade and sylvia helped me move all of the hay bails and decorate so that was nice...and then it was party time! i may have partied a little too hard, too early in the night, because i ended up going to bed around 10:30...oooopsies. but the fun didn't stop...i found out about the rest of it in the morning :) i also forgot to say that we had halloween puppies...yes, we had 8 of them...but 2 ended up being too small and they passed away :( but we have 2 chocolate females, 2 black females, 1 black male and 1 female white....sooo, for those of you who think you might need to add a doggie to your life...let me know!

and lst but not least...my sister came into town and that made me sooooooo happy! she drove down for my brother's 26th b-day..and of course we totally got down in the kitchen! we made him prime rib, garlic shrimp skewers, sesame asparagus, arugela brie, bagguettes, and some bomb mixed drinks to top it off! it was soooo good! and it was so much fun having all of my family together for the night! my sis is still here and we are heading off to kohls this morning for the big sale! so...that is it for now..but i have about 6 b-day's coming up in the family (including my little kiya...she wil be 4) we have thanksgiving and my girls are headed off to disney world and sea world with my parents...so i will have plenty to write about!
