well, jake just got back from salmon fishing...with no salmon...bummer! but whatev! me and the kiddos had a great weekend! to kick it off, we went to the Mule Days carnival which is theeeee shiiiiiiz! we thought eagle fun days was a good time? the kids did everything from riding rides, to painting faces, to eating some massive corn dogs! and the happiness on their faces was worth the whole 150 bones i spent there...ha! but seriously...it was! then the next day, we went to the parade which was a total hit with the kids...especially the candy being thrown from the floats! it took them a while to figure out what they were supposed to do...but i let them know that they have got to be aggressive, and push kids out of the way...or no candy for you! ha ha ha..they learned this quickly!
afterwards the adults got to have a little bit of fun......we made gross martinis had a bon fire and went off of the rope swing a few times....only falling short of the landing once :) anyways.....i didn't have my hubby here this weekend...which is always hard, but we managed to have an awesome time!!
and p.s.......i don't know how to put pics where i want them or really know how to use this thing at all...so if anyone could let me know....that would be awesome!
